GIIDAE INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE) offers a diverse range of scholarships, including those offered by the School, the University, and by organisations outside of the University. These scholarships are open to applicants worldwide who have received an offer to study in one of GIIDAE's programmes. Applications will be accepted until the final eligibility date, as listed for each scholarship. Applications from eligible candidates will be considered throughout the award period. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as applications are assessed and scholarships awarded to eligible applicants as they are received. Eligibility

  1. The GIIDAE International Scholarship is available to applicants who are looking to study a Master's programme with the Graduate of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE).
  2. The scholarship awards will be decided based on a range of factors, including academic excellence and the degree to which the applicant has demonstrated their suitability for an award. Scholarship offers are normally made as fee reductions. Students may not accept more than one bursary or Scholarship offered by the Graduate Institute.
  3. Applications will be accepted until the final eligibility date . The Scholarships are open to applicants worldwide who have received an offer to study in one of GIIDAE’s programmes.

Award & availability

Stated amount: 542,822

  1. The scholarship is made up of a number of scholarships worth £5, 000 (INR 5, 42, 822) each and is open to students from any international country who are studying on any of the GIIDAE's programmes.
  2. Awards are intended to acknowledge and support applicants with good academic records. Hundreds of applicants are competing for a limited number of awards that are subject to availability. If all the funding is allocated before the final eligibility date, we will post a notice to this effect on this website and through our social media accounts.

Application

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

  1. Visit the official website for apply.
  2. Applicants must complete the application form in its entirety to be eligible for consideration.
  3. Applications for a scholarship must be received by 1st July.
  4. As applications will be considered as they are received, it is not guaranteed that funds will be available to be awarded if applicants wait until the final deadline.
  5. Applications will be considered in the order that they are received, until the funds allocated are exhausted.

Selection process

  1. Applications will be assessed according to the criteria set out in the Conditions of Application and Award.
  2. A selection committee will consider applications and award funding at regular intervals leading up to the final application deadline date.
