Eligibility
To be eligible for an international scholarship, you must:
- Be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible)
- Meet any course or scholarship-specific entry requirements
- Not be in receipt of a Swinburne tuition fee scholarship or reduced fee arrangement at any one time (Swinburne will apply the most favorable arrangement to your enrolment)
- Not be in receipt of another form of tuition fee scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from another organization at the same time Applying to any of the following courses:

- This scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered to international students commencing an intake for the first time from June until December at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus in an undergraduate and postgraduate coursework program.
- If eligible, you will receive 20 percent off your tuition fees for the standard course duration, calculated from the course start date to the course end date as stated in your letter of offer.
- The scholarship applies to tuition fees only. It does not apply to any other fee, such as practicum training, Overseas Student Health Cover, or other non-tuition fee costs. Scholarships are limited.
Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. When you apply to commence an intake in an eligible course for the first time from June until December at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus, we automatically consider you for the available international scholarship based on the grades of your previous study. If your application for study is successful, you will receive a letter of offer from us. In that same letter of offer, you will be notified if you have received an international scholarship. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. Visit our How to Apply page for course application details. You’re also welcome to apply for our general scholarships. You will need to submit a separate application if you want to apply for any of these.
- Students who have a GPA of 90% or above may receive the Swinburne International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship instead, which is of more value than this one. Note: This scholarship is not strictly merit-based and is generally awarded by looking at how well you meet the course requirements. You will need to provide:
- Certified copies of your previous academic results
- Certified English language proficiency test results
- Letters from your school or employer
- A design portfolio
- A statement of activity

Selection process
- First All the application forms will be evaluated.
- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities.
- If you are already enrolled in our ELICOS+ program and/or have received the ELICOS+ scholarship, you will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Other Info Scholarship parameters
