GEN FOUNDATION GRANTS

To be eligible for the Gen Foundation grant, an applicant:

1. Must study and/or research in the field of natural sciences, in particular, food sciences/technology and
2. Should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. ​​​​​​​The Foundation does not support undergraduates, short-term training, conferences, seminars, or thesis writing. Such applications will not be considered.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. Before applying for the Gen Foundation grant, you are strongly recommended to check whether you are eligible to apply. The application form must be completed in English and submitted with all of the supporting documents. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

2. Prepare the following documentation. One complete application form
3. Refer to page 5 of the application form before the completion.
4. Typed applications only; handwritten applications will not be considered.
5. English only. One recent passport-sized photograph
6. Attached to the application form.
7. Portraits will not be accepted. An up-to-date curriculum vitae (resume)
8. English only. TWO original and signed letters of reference
9. English or Japanese.
10. Not photocopied.
11. Not scanned.
12. Not emailed. Evidence of acceptance by an organization/institution
13. Evidence of a conditional letter is acceptable.
14. Photocopied or Original. 1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
3. Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities.
4. If shortlisted candidates are unable to attend an interview in the UK we can arrange for a telephone interview.
