FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & MERIT SCHOLARSHIP TO SC/ST/OBC/MINORITIES STUDENTS

1. Be an Indian citizen
2. Be a domicile of Delhi
3. Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
4. Be studying a UG degree in one of the following subjects in a recognised college or professional/technical institution:
5. Have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the previous academic year
6. Have an annual family income less than ₹3,00,000 per annum (Note:- In case of SC/ST category income ceiling is not applicable)

Stated amount: 24,000 The selected students will receive the financial assistance in the following manner Groups Courses Scholarship (for Hostellers) Scholarship (for Day Scholars) Group A

1. Degree course in Medical/Engineering/B.Sc. (Agri)/Veterinary Science/Forensic Science/Higher Technical and professional studies
2. Degree level course in Indian medicine B.A.M.S & comparable course in Ayurvedic, Unani/Tibbia and Homeopathy system of Medicine
3. Degree courses and technical/professional and vocational courses ₹20,000 per annum ₹12,000 per annum Postgraduate courses in the above and other technical and professional courses ₹24,000 per annum ₹15,000 per annum Group B
4. Diploma-level courses in Indian medicine such as B.A.M.S and equivalent courses in Ayurvedic, Unani/Tibbia, and Homeopathy systems of Medicine
5. Diploma-level courses in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Printing Technology, Overseer, Draftsman Surveyor, Hotel Management, Catering, Applied Nutrition, Commercial Pilot License Wireless & TV Operator Sound Recording and Engineering, Photography, Film Direction, Acting, Screenplay Writing
6. Postgraduate courses in science subjects 4 .Diploma level and postgraduate diploma courses in technical/professional and vocational courses (above-mentioned) ₹15,000 per annum ₹9,000 per annum Group C
7. Certificate courses in Engineering Technology, Architecture, and Medicine; Diploma and Certificate courses in Agri/Veterinary Science/Fisheries/Dairy/Public Health/Sanitary Inspector/Rural services/Library Science/sub-officers course in National Fire Service College Nagpur; Degree/postgraduate diploma and postgraduate courses in teachers training/Library Science/Physical Education/Music/Fine Arts/Law/Craft Instructor/Passenger Transport Management/Associate degree in Pharmacy

There is no application fees.

1. The applicant should upload Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued in the name of student or his father’s name by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD, Domicile Certificate of Delhi if the caste (SC) certificate is not issued by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
2. In the case of minority student, declaration by parent/guardian in prescribed format that his Son/Daughter belongs to particular Minority Community require.
3. Applicants can submit their application online on the e-district portal.

The students will be selected on the basis of fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. Other Info Documents Required

2. Marksheet/certificate of the previous academic year
3. Income certificate issued by competent authorities (Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi)
4. Domicile certificate by the competent authority (Government of NCT of Delhi)
5. Gap certificate (in case of gap in studies for up to 3 years)
