The Eynesbury College International Scholarship rewards the international graduates of Eynesbury College. This scholarship is: 1. Available for graduates of Eynesbury College commencing at the University of Adelaide. 2. Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand); and 3. Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  1. Be a graduate of Eynesbury College;
  2. The minimum grade to be eligible is 319 or above for Foundation, or a GPA of 3.0 for Diploma;
  3. Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
  4. Enrol in a full-time study load for each study period of the degree;
  5. Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission. Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest-value scholarship award for which they are eligible). Exclusions The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:
  6. Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one degree to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers).
  7. Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department.
  8. Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.

Award & availability

  1. The scholarship offers a 10% or 5% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar's chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  2. To avail 10% waiver in tuition fee, the scholarship must be accepted by the student within one week of issuance.
  3. To avail 5% waiver in tuition fee, the scholarship must be accepted by the student within a period of 2 weeks from the date of issuance.
  4. The scholarship scheme does NOT cover the cost of a recipient’s Australian student visa, accommodation expenses in Australia, or the cost of taking tests to study in Australia.
  5. The tuition fee waiver is provided for the entire duration of the course of the student provided that he does not transfer from one course to another.
  6. The University of Adelaide’s College International Scholarship payment will be made in the form of a tuition fee waiver directly into each recipient’s tuition fee account, reducing the tuition fee liability by the scholarship amount for each teaching period. Scholarships are limited.

Application

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

  1. It is not necessary to apply for The Eynesbury College International Scholarship because this scholarship will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility requirements. Scholarships will be confirmed at the point of acceptance.

Selection process

  1. The selection committee of the University of Adelaide shortlists and selects the recipients of the College International Scholarship.
  2. Also, the selection process for the scholarship is based on the course the student is pursuing.
  3. The College International Scholarship at the University of Adelaide does not cover all the UG and PG level programs.
  4. Master of Marine Engineering, Bachelor of Health & Medical Science, Graduate Diploma of Marine Engineering, etc are a few courses NOT covered under the scholarship scheme. Other Info This scholarship is subject to the following terms and conditions:
  5. The Scholarship is merit-based and will be assessed based on student academic performance and grades. The minimum grade to be eligible is 339 for Foundation and 70% for Diploma students.
  6. The following students are not eligible to receive this scholarship: a. Students who have not received an offer for the scholarship. b. Students who are recipients of a scholarship awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government ministry or department. c. Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfer students).
  7. This scholarship is applied automatically at the time of the offer on the condition students accept within the specified timeframe. Students will receive notification of the scholarship with their offer.
  8. The scholarships provide a tuition fee waiver of the scholarship value for the duration indicated in the scholarship award letter for study at the University of Adelaide. The scholarships do not cover the costs of visas, Overseas Student Health coverage, travel, accommodation, living expenses, books and study materials, or any other expenses associated with living in Adelaide or studying at the University of Adelaide.
  9. The scholarship is not paid for courses where credit is granted in recognition of prior learning/study.
  10. The scholarship is not transferable to a third party or redeemable for cash.
  11. If an individual receives and accepts more than one offer of a scholarship from the University of Adelaide, only one scholarship, the scholarship of greater value, will be awarded.
  12. Scholarship holders must commence study at the University of Adelaide in the Semester for which the scholarship was offered. The scholarship cannot be deferred.
  13. The scholarship holder must be enrolled in the undergraduate or postgraduate program of study for which the scholarship was awarded.
  14. Scholarship holders are required to enroll in the University of Adelaide program of study as international students* and must maintain international student* status for the duration of their enrolment in the University. The scholarship will be terminated if a student ceases to be an international student.
  15. Scholarship holders are required to enroll in a full-time study load for each study period of their degree.
  16. If a scholarship holder enrolls in more than the standard 24 unit load per year, or in any way accrues additional tuition fee liabilities, the additional tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.
  17. The scholarship holder must pay their tuition fees within the stipulated payment deadlines.
  18. If a scholarship holder faces exceptional circumstances requiring him or her to return home they may apply for a one-year deferment of enrolment without loss of scholarship, provided this is approved under the student visa requirements.
  19. If a scholarship holder enrolls in courses in another institution, including cross-institutional study, those tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.
  20. If a scholarship holder is required to repeat a course the student is liable to pay for the tuition fees for the repeated course.
  21. The University does not represent that this scholarship will be tax-free to the recipient. The recipient should seek independent advice on the tax implications of this scholarship.
