ECU INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The ECU International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is offered to international students with outstanding academic performance. Edith Cowan University, through this scholarship program, offers a 20% tuition fee reduction for the duration of the course. 1. ECU International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is offered for a bachelor’s degree in the field of courses offered at ECU. 2. Eligible students must submit their ECU admission applications before August 05. 3. Selections are based on academic performance solely. However, test scores and SOPs submitted for admission are also analyzed thoroughly.

Eligibility
Since ECU International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is admission-based, the eligibility requirements are quite similar to the admission requirements. The scholarship eligibility criteria specified by the university are:
- Citizenship: International fee-paying students belonging to a selected country.
- Enrolling in the eligible courses.
- Commencing studies at study onshore at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus.
- Academically excellent with a high level of achievement.
- Not be a holder of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship. Applicant must be proficient in English Language and is required to take the following tests:
- TOEFL-IBT: 70+
- TOEFL-PBT: 550
- IELTS: 6.0+

- The Edith Cowan University is an Australian public university located in Perth, Western Australia. The university offers ECU International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship to students who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement in their previous studies. The scholarship is applicable to selected countries.
- The scholarship offers a 20% reduction in your tuition fees for the duration of your course at ECU. The scholarship covers only 20% of the tuition fees and no other expenses of the students shall be covered. Scholarships are very limited.
Application
No Application Fee is required. This is an admission-based scholarship where eligible students are auto-considered based on the admission application.
Selection process
Selections for the ECU Undergraduate Merit Scholarship are done on the basis of merit, achievements, and performance of the students. The awards are distributed at the discretion of Edith Cowan University. The following terms and conditions must be carefully followed: The university has the right to disqualify any application at any point if it is found that:
- Information provided by the applicant is false/misleading.
- If the applicant fails to meet the high eligibility criteria/admission requirements of ECU.
- If in case the application does not comply with the conditions of the scholarship. Two letters will be issued by the admission department to confirm whether the applicant has been successful:
- One relating to the scholarship and
- The other is an offer letter for the course
- The scholarship holder must continue to meet the eligibility criteria throughout the course of study. Without the permission of the ECU, the scholarship cannot be transferred to some other course of study. The scholarship holder must always pay their fees within the given timeframe, failing which the scholarship may be negated.
