Selection process
The Selection Committee Awarded the Eamon Molloy Memorial Scholarship consisting of a representative of Dr Ngau Boon Keat the Molloy family the donors; and the UC Foundation. The selection criteria for Eamon Molloy Memorial Scholarship are:
- The academic qualifications
- Financial need and
- The personal statement written by the applicant stating his/her short and long-term career goals, and commitment to society and community, keeping in mind the difference this particular course will bring. The Committee normally interviews the applicant before making a final decision. Other Info Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Applicants must be either (1) citizens of Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam, or (2) holders of Hong Kong permanent identity cards. Applicants must not also be citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.
