DR.M.V.V.S MURTHI RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
In order to motivate students for higher education and perform quality research, Dr. M.V.V.S. Murthi Research Fellowships have been initiated in various disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Management, Law, Social Sciences and Pharmacy for full-time Ph.D. scholars being admitted in phase II of Research admissions. The eligible candidate will receive the fellowship for a period of three years as per GITAM rules and regulations.

Eligibility
The candidate should have a minimum of a Master’s degree in the respective discipline. The upper age limit for eligibility of fellowship is 28 years, which can be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates who belong to the categories of SC/ST; and women candidates.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 20,000
- Candidates without NET/GATE/SLET shall be entitled for Rs.15,000/- per month.
- Candidates with NET/GATE/SLET shall be entitled for Rs.20,000/- per month. Click here for more information

Selection process
The award of research fellowships shall strictly be based on the research scholar’s performance in GITAM Research Entrance Test (GRCET) and personal Interview.
