Eligibility
Master's graduates, PhD candidates, postdoctoral scholars, and senior researchers are eligible to apply. Junior scholarship: Applicants who have completed a Post Graduate degree from a recognised institution / University are eligible to apply. Applicants must be between 23 to 40 years of age. Senior Scholarship: Well-established professionals with at least eight years of experience in the field and a proven publication record, or those who have been awarded their PhD. are eligible to apply. Applicants must be above 40 years of age.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 250,000 Stipends
- Senior scholarship will receive a total endowment amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- which also includes travel allowances.
- Junior scholarship will receive a total endowment amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- which also includes travel allowances. Number of Scholarship is the subject to availability, for more please visit official website.

- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities. Other Info Dr. Devangana Desai Endowment Programme was instituted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya in 2017, by Dr. Devangana Desai, an eminent art historian of ancient and medieval Indian art. This endowment aims at the propagation of research and dissemination of study of ancient, medieval and pre-modern (until 1900s) art, archaeology, architecture, culture and history of India.
