DR. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR NATIONAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (BANRF)
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research & Training Institute (BARTI), Pune is an autonomous Institute of Govt. of Maharashtra. BARTI launched “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Research Fellowship (BANRF)” in 2013. Only Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates belonging to Maharashtra, who wish to pursue regular and fulltime M. Phil and Ph.D., in any subject, from Indian Universities / Institutions / Colleges approved under UGC and foreign Universities are liable to get fellowship Reservations: 1. 50% of fellowships reserved for SC Female candidates. 2. 3% of fellowships reserved for SC Candidates with disability. Disability % should be more than 40%.

Eligibility
- Applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste Category & domicile of Maharashtra State, who has passed the Post- Graduation examination in any discipline/Subject/Branch.
- Applicant applying for BANRF must be registered for M. Phil/ Ph.D. Not registered applicants are not eligible to apply BANRF.
- Age of applicant should not exceed more than 55 years as on the last date of online application submission date.
- All-inclusive family Annual Income of the applicants should not be more than INR 8 lakhs.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 28,000 Course Fellowship in Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering & Technology Fellowship M.Phil. Rs. 25,000/- Per Month for 2 years (Based on academic tenure specified by concerned University) (BANRF) Ph.D. Rs. 25,000/-Per Month for 1 st & 2nd year Rs. 28,000/- Per Month for 3 rd year subject to providing up-gradation certificate.
