The Government of Delhi is inviting applications for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Award to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities students through an e-District portal. The Department is fully committed to the highest standard of excellence and transparency in providing the benefits to the people belonging to SC's/ST’s/OBC’s/Minorities. The award is given to a student, who tops among the SC/ST/OBC/Minorities in each discipline of the professional/Technical degree course. Eligibility
- Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) community.
- Have passed Class 10 and 12 from a recognised institution located in Delhi.
- Be studying in a professional/technical degree course in a state/central university of Delhi.
- Have achieved top marks in the final year exams of the respective studies.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 25,000 An award of Rs.25,000/- is given to each of the toppers in each discipline after completion of degree course in each university, if student belongs to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities category. No. of Scholarships is subject to availability, for more please visit
Application

- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by the competent authority of Delhi.
- Certificate/diploma/degree/marksheet for all previous qualifying examinations.
Selection process
The award is conferred among the toppers of all professional/technical courses. Being a merit-based award, no family income limit has been laid down. Only Applications will be evaluated. Other Info Terms and Conditions
