DR AMBEDKAR MEDHAVI CHATRAVRITI YOJANA FOR OBC STUDENTS
The Scholarship will be given to the top 1000 meritorious students of OBC declared as such in the result of the Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala strictly on a merit basis for 10+1 and 10+2 classes in a recognized within or outside the State. The renewal in the 10+2 Class will be subject to satisfactory performance in the 10+1 internal examination. The scholarship is given @ Rs.10,000/- per year. Eligibility
1. Be a bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh. 2. Belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. 3. Be enrolled in Class 11, 12, or professional/technical courses in an institution within or outside the State for pursuing higher education after Class 10. 4. Have secured a position among the top 1,000 students in the OBC category in the Matriculation examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE).
Award & availability
Stated amount: 10,000 Under the Scholarship, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- will be given to each eligible student. The Scholarships will be given to 1,000 OBC categories declared as such in the result of the matric examination conducted by the H.P Board.

Selection process
- First All the application forms will be evaluated.
- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.

- The scholarship is tenable for only two years, the renewal is subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of study or the Class 11 internal examination.
- The student has to be admitted within the state or outside the state, after completing Class 10.
