DOODLE 4 GOOGLE CONTEST
Applications are invited for Doodle 4 Google contst. Doodle 4 Google is an annual contest open to students in Class 1 to 10. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on www.google.co.in as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for schools as prizes.The Doodle 4 Google Competition (the "Contest") is designed to encourage eligible Indian school students and their parents/guardians on their behalf ("Entrant(s)" or "You") to use their creativity to create their own interpretation of the Google logo. Doodles are meant to surprise and delight people when they visit www.google.co.in. Past Doodles have celebrated some of the most brilliant, talented, and passionate people throughout history. Students may create a doodle using any medium or materials. However, please note that doodles will be reviewed and scanned in a two-dimensional (2D) format. If students create a three-dimensional (3D) doodle, please make sure to take a photograph and enter the photograph rather than the original. Original 2D scannable doodles made with materials such as paint, pencils, crayons, markers, chalk, pastels, charcoal, cray-pas, or a 2D collage will be accepted. Computer-generated images will also be accepted.

Eligibility
1. The contest is open to students in Class 1 to 10. 2. Parents, teachers, non-profits and after school programs are welcome to enter artwork on behalf of students of class 1-10. When teachers and after school programs enter doodles on behalf of their students, the entry form must be signed by each student's parent or guardian. Teachers can enter multiple doodles at one time, but only one original doodle per student. Regardless of the entry channel, the INR 200,000 technology award will go to the winning student's school. 3. At the time of submitting the doodle, the student must be an Indian citizen enrolled in an Indian school and lives in India. He or she must also obtain their parents’, legal guardians’ or teachers prior permission to compete in the contest via a signed entry form.

Stated amount: 500,000 National Winner The National Winner will get his/her doodle showcased on google.co.in page. He or she may also receive:
- An INR 500,000 college scholarship
- An INR 200,000 technology package for their school
- Certificate / Trophy of achievement
- A trip to Google Office
- Any of the Hardware
- Googley Schwag Group Winners Each Group Winner will receive:
- An INR 250,000 college scholarship
- An INR 100,000 technology package for their school
- Trophy/Medal of recognition
- Certificate of achievement
- A trip to Google Office in India
- Any of the Hardware products
- Googley Schwag National Finalists All National finalists will have their doodles featured on the Doodle for Google gallery, and will receive:
- Certificate of achievement
- Any of the Hardware products
- Googley Schwag National Finalists The Guest Judges and Google Doodlers will select the 4 best doodles from each of the groups as the national finalists. These 20 finalists will be displayed in an online gallery on the Doodle for Google website. Five Group Winners The Indian public will vote for their favorite doodle from these 20 national finalists. These votes will help determine the Group Winners. One National Winner A cumulative score based on public voting, scores by guest judges and panel of Google executives will choose one of the five group winners and announce the National Winner.

Click here for more information Students can work with any materials they want, but all doodles must be submitted using the entry form. Parents and teachers can courier us the completed entry form with Doodle or submit it online as a .png, or .jpg.
Selection process
Doodles will be judged on the following parameters: Artistic merit: Based on artistic skill Creativity: Representation of the contest theme, use of the letters in the Google logo, and the unique approach to the doodle Theme communication: How well the contest theme is expressed in both the artwork and the written statement Doodles will be grouped and judged by the following 5 class groups:
- Class 1-2
- Class 3-4
- Class 5-6
- Class 7-8
- Class 9-10 Competition levels National Finalists The Guest Judges and Google Doodlers will select the 4 best doodles from each of the groups as the national finalists. These 20 finalists will be displayed in an online gallery on the Doodle for Google website. One National Winner A cumulative score based on public voting, scores by guest judges and panel of Google executives will choose one of the five group winners and announce the National Winner.
