DELHI LADLI SCHEME

1. Girl should be born in Delhi as shown by the birth certificate issued by the Registrar (Births & Deaths), MCD/NDMC.
2. The applicant must be a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least three years preceding the date of birth of the girl child.
3. Annual family income should not exceed Rs.1 lac.
4. If girl is school going, her school must be recognized by Delhi Govt. / MCD / NDMC.
5. Benefit of the scheme is limited to two surviving girls per family.

Stated amount: 11,000 Under the scheme financial assistance in the name of eligible girls is sanctioned at the following stages:

1. For Institutional Delivery Rs.11000/- (provided the girl is born in the last one year)
2. For Delivery at Home Rs.10000/-(provided the girl is born in the last one year)
3. On admission in Class I Rs.5000/-
4. On admission in Class VI Rs.5000/-
5. On admission in Class IX Rs.5000/-
6. On passing Class X Rs.5000/-

1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
3. Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities Other Info Objectives
4. To empower the girl child socially and economically.
5. To promote birth registration of girl child.
6. To control female foeticide and to improve the sex ratio.
7. To end discrimination against the girl child.
8. To promote education among girls and reduce the school drop-out rate of girl students.
9. To provide security to girl students for their higher education.
