DEAN'S SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Dean's Excellence Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who:

1. Can demonstrate strong academic performance – on track to obtain or have graduated with a minimum of a high 2.1 or 1st class UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent from a university with a strong academic reputation and ranking.
2. Have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the master's program and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the master class.
3. Show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities. You can only apply for the scholarship once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programs and have either firmly accepted the offer or intend to do so. The scholarship selection panel can only consider your application if you hold an active offer throughout your scholarship application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the scholarship decision deadline you will no longer be eligible). You can apply for the scholarship only once per admissions cycle. You will not be eligible for this scholarship if:
4. You are fully sponsored by your employer.
5. You are in receipt of a full scholarship.
6. You have already accepted another scholarship from the University of Edinburgh Business School.
7. You submit a scholarship application prior to having secured an offer for the program you are applying to.

Stated amount: 1,100,816

1. Each of the Faculties will award 25 scholarships worth £5, 000 (INR 5, 50, 408) - £10, 000 (INR 11, 00, 816).

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. You should submit an application through the University Scholarship Application system following receipt of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a Masters's programme.
2. In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to ten working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
3. The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd, our web-based information portal. They have to submit the required documents:
4. A statement of 500 words stating the reason why they should receive the scholarship.
5. Academic references including grades obtained in the first and second years of their study.

The selection process of Dean's Scholarships for Academic Excellence takes place once the applications are received by the university.

1. Scholarship Panel will review applications case-by-case.
2. Selection will be based on academic excellence, a personal statement and academic references.
3. Applicants with an average grade of 70% or above will be considered for the scholarship.
4. The candidates will be informed within 4 weeks when the application will be reviewed.

6. The scholarship will be paid directly towards your tuition fees.
7. Scholarships have to be accepted by the deadline defined in the scholarship award letter.
8. If you do not accept and pay the required master's program deposit within the given time frame then you will forfeit your scholarship offer as well as your program offer. The Business School will then re-allocate this scholarship.
9. Any scholarship is automatically withdrawn if you decline your program offer or fail to meet the conditions set out in your program offer letter.
10. If you receive a scholarship, you will be expected to participate occasionally as an ambassador for the Business School during and after your program.
11. Only one University of Edinburgh scholarship can be accepted.
