DEAKIN VICE CHANCELLOR'S MERITORIOUS SCHOLARSHIP

To be eligible, all the below selection criteria must be met:

1. Applicant should be an Indian citizen with a valid Indian Passport.
2. Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application.
3. Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorised agent based in India.
4. Applicant should meet the below mentioned academic eligibility criteria. Academic eligibility criteria
5. 85% overall in Year 12 scores of CBSE / ICSE / State Board; OR
6. 10 overall in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) / A Level; OR
7. 32 overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP); OR
8. 80% overall in an undergraduate degree.

Stated amount: Not Available The recipients are rewarded with-

1. 100% of the total indicative tuition fee stated on your Letter of Offer.
2. Priority place for on-campus accommodation (at own cost and subject to availability). Scholarships are limited.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

7. Two references who can comment on your community engagement and/or leadership capacity.
8. A completed application to study at Deakin including academic transcripts. Your personal statement must be written by you and reflect your personal views. It should contain:
9. An outline of why you want to study at Deakin University.
10. An overview of any extracurricular activities and work experience (paid or voluntary) you have undertaken.
11. Why do you think you would make an outstanding ambassador for Deakin University.

1. Upon receiving all applications and supporting documents, the Deakin University officials will start evaluating each scholarship applicant. Students will be informed about the outcome of the selection process in due time.
2. As per the requirements, shortlisted applicants may be asked to attend an interview as a part of the selection process. In that case, the final decision will be based on the applicant’s interview session.
