DALAI LAMA TRUST SCHOLARSHIP - TIBET

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS (any of the three criteria)

1. Students who have consistently performed well in academics but couldn’t score well in the Class 12 Board examinations. (Recommendation from school required).
2. Students who are responsible, sincere, honest and bearing good moral conduct. (Recommendation from school required).
3. Students who are orphaned, semi-orphaned or belong to a destitute family. (Recommendation from Tibetan Settlement Office required, please download Form ‘A’). Please compile the relevant form with due signature and stamp and attach it to the document file. ​​​​​​​POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS Only those students who have been awarded Undergraduate scholarships by the Dalai Lama Trust are eligible to apply for postgraduate scholarships.

1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.

4. Applicant & his/her parents must have a Green Book (GB) and the GB contribution must be paid till 2023. If applicant’s parents are in Tibet/deceased/separated, please explain clearly in the application form.
5. Applicant must have a valid Registration Certificate (RC). Those from Nepal, Bhutan, Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Gangtok who do not have a Registration Certificate must mention clearly where they are from and name their concerned Settlement Office.
6. Postgraduate scholarship applicants must be a recipient of the Dalai Lama Trust Scholarship during Undergraduate program.
7. This scholarship doesn’t include Vocational courses.
8. In the event that the applicant has taken a gap year, please specify the reasons in the application form.
9. This Scholarship is solely for those deserving students who require financial support. If you do not need financial support, we request that you do not apply.
