CHARLES DARWIN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Applicant must apply to commence study in S1 or S2 (the intake they are offered first).
2. Applicant must meet the University's academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course.
3. Applicant must have a minimum overall score of 95% in their highest completed qualification.
4. Applicant must be an international student paying international student fees.
5. Applicant must not hold another scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency.
6. The offer to study must be accepted in time to commence your studies in that intake.
7. Applicants must commence any CDU Darwin undergraduate program from Semester 1 or Semester 1 for on-campus study.
8. Applicants must commence in full-time study mode.
9. Applicants must be an international students that has completed their DIS Y12 qualification and ATAR.

1. Vice-Chancellor's International High Achievers Scholarships (VCIHAS) a. The scholarship applies to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree covering 50% of the tuition fee for the full duration of the course. b.The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.
2. CDU Global Merit Scholarship The scholarship applies to the CDU course and covers 30% of the tuition fee for select courses.
3. CDU Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship The scholarship applies to the Bachelor of Nursing course and covers up to 20% of the tuition fee for this course
4. CDU International College Pathway Scholarship The scholarship applies to the CDU International College course and covers up to 20% of the tuition fee for this course only for the below courses.
5. ELICOS Scholarship The scholarship applies to the ELICOS course and covers up to 20% of the tuition fee.
6. Dili International School Scholarship Five DIS graduates per year who meet English and academic entry requirements will receive access to yearly tuition fee and accommodation scholarships to reduce overall fees paid to $AUD12, 900 (INR 7, 27, 762) per annum. Scholarships are limited.

Once the applications are received by the university, next comes the selection process. The selection committee at the university will review the applications case-by-case. The selection for the recipients of the Charles Darwin University Scholarships will be based on the following parameters :

1. Overall score in their highest completed qualification
2. Personal statement
3. Two referees reports (academic or professional) supporting scholarship application. The outcome of the application will be notified by email within a month of the closing date of the scholarship. In order to retain the Charles Darwin University Scholarships, the recipient must meet all the conditions listed below:
4. Continue to be an international student liable to pay fees.
5. Pay their portion of the tuition fees on or before the payment due date of each semester.
6. Maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and with no fail grade in any unit.
7. Maintain a full-time enrolment of 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) each semester or
8. Have the approval to reduce their study load or take a leave of absence for the semester. Other Info Terms and Conditions ​​​​​​​1. This award is exclusively for new international students.
9. Applicant must apply to commence study in the current year for one of the programs offered by CDU International College.
10. Applicants must meet the academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen course.
11. Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate to be considered for this scholarship.
12. The scholarship is awarded for the first year of study only and is deducted from gross tuition fees upon enrolment. The scholarship cannot be used in lieu of any required deposit, and no cash alternative is available.
13. If students wish to defer their entry to the CDU International College program, the scholarship will not be automatically transferred. However, the student will be automatically assessed with the new scholarship scheme when it's available.
14. Students must be self-funded.
