1. To support parents of ST children for education of their wards studying in classes IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized, and to improve participation of ST children in classes IX and X of the pre-matric stage, so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. 2. Scholarship under the Scheme will be available for studies in India only and will be awarded by the Government of the State/Union Territory to which the applicant belongs i.e. where she/he is domiciled. Eligibility
- Pursuing class IX and X.
- Student should be a regular, full time student studying in a Government School or in a School recognized by Govt. or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
- The applicant must ensure that his/her name in the form is not different from the name in his/her Aadhaar and bank account.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 525 The amount of schclarship under tire schenre for Pre-Matrrc Scholarship to ST Students from Rs 150/- to Rs 225/- per month for day scholars and from Rs.350/- to Rs 525/- per month for Hostellers. No. of scholarships is subject to availability, please visit official website.
