CALGARY BOARD OF GOVERNORS BURSARY
TheCalgary Board of Governors Bursary is the financial aid provided to UG students enrolled in the University of Calgary. Students entering the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of their UG program at the University of Calgary are eligible for the scholarship. 1. Based on academic merit and financial need, one recipient is selected each year. 2. The scholarship amount of 3500 CAD is given to the student to cover the tuition fees. 3. Students have to apply online for the scholarship. 4. The deadline for the scholarship is May 01.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Calgary Board of Governors Bursary at the University of Calgary, students are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below :
- Citizenship: Permanent resident/ Canadian citizen/International student
- Students are required to demonstrate financial needs and outstanding academic merit.
- Must be pursuing a UG degree in any field, but only students in the second, third or fourth year of study are eligible to receive the award.

Stated amount: 215,535 Students registered under any faculty and pursuing the UG program at the University of Calgary are eligible for the Calgary Board of Governors Bursary. It is a form of financial assistance provided to all undergraduate students, domestic or international who have been admitted to the University of Calgary. Application
Click here for more information Students admitted at the University of Calgary and entering in the 2nd,3rd or 4th year of UG study are eligible for the scholarship. Students who wish to secure the Board of Governors Bursary have to apply online for the scholarship. The step-by-step process to apply for the scholarship is mentioned below. Step I: Access the Student Centre in myUofC portal available at the University of Calgary's Official website. Step II: In the Student Centre section, click on the "My Financials" page. Step III: Click on the Awards & Scholarships section, and click on "Apply for Undergraduate Awards"s. Step IV: A pop-up window will open on the screen with a number of applications for the different scholarships. Choose the Board of Governors Bursary application. Step V: Complete all the details of the online scholarship application. Step VI: Send in the required student supporting documents, along with the application and submit it. Note: Applicants must submit scholarship applications before May 01 to be considered for the selection
Selection process
After the submission of the application for the Calgary Board of Governors Bursary, applicants will be shortlisted by a panel of selectors at the University of Calgary. The applications will be judged on academic merit and financial need of the applicants. Recipient of the scholarship will be informed through email.
