BRAZIL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Brazil Government Scholarship program for Indian students has been initiated by the Brazilian government. This program provides scholarship funds for Indian students to pursue their education at Brazilian educational institutions. There are currently three subsidiary scholarship projects that have been introduced or funded through this program. The Brazil Government Scholarship program offers Indian students a scholarship worth BRL 622 to pursue higher education programs at Brazilian colleges. In addition to this, students can also apply for the Merit/MRE/Emergency Award through subsidiary scholarship programs. This award is covered by the Brazil Government Scholarship and provides further financial assistance to eligible students. Eligibility
The applicants will need to follow the mentioned eligibility criteria for getting online registration under this scholarship: –
- The applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
- The age of a student must fall under the age limit from 18 to 23 years.
- Securing 60% of the minimum marks in the last year’s exam is a must in the overall subjects.
- Securing proficiency in the Portuguese language is a must. Eligible Fields The lists of eligible fields are as follows:-

- Medicine Age Limit The student must possess the age limit that has been specified and fixed by the selection body. The student must be falling under the age group from 18 to 23 years which means the student must be above the age of 18 years and should not be above the age of 23 years. Minimum Marks Cut-Off The students will need to possess the minimum marks cut off that is mandatory for the student to attain for getting selected as an eligible beneficiary even after satisfying selection parameters such as age limit, citizenship and others. The students will need to possess or secure at least 60% marks in overall subjects, especially English.

Stated amount: 11,485 The Brazil Government Scholarship is to provide educational opportunities and fields to Indian students in various fields such as Engineering, Natural Sciences, Medicine, and other fields. Students will be given the scholarship amounts based on a monthly stipend. An amount of BRL 622 will be given to the students. - Field or Degree Opted by the student Brazil Government Scholarship Duration The duration of the scholarship has already been set up and the students will be able to receive this scholarship amount for the stipulated amount of time according to the scholarship duration which has been set up. The tenure of the scholarship will be for 1-semester consisting of 6 months for which the students will be granted the scholarship amounts.
