Bradford International Academic Excellence Scholarships, awarded by the institution, are tuition fee waivers given to incoming international (non-EU) students. Eligibility
Applicants must secure admission at the University of Bradford in order to be considered for the scholarship program. Apart from that, applicants must fulfil the eligibility criteria listed below: Citizenship: All countries, excluding EU countries. Academic Study-level: Enter into any of the University of Bradford’s programs in Year 0 (Foundation) or Year 1. 1. Enrolling as a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree student Academic qualification: 1. For a UG degree, applicants are required to hold their high school degree certificate. 2. For a PG degree, applicants are needed to hold their bachelor’s degree certificates. Language Proficiency: For applicants whose English isn’t their first language, they will need to meet the English language requirements: 1. IELTS: 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each section. 2. PTE: 55 with a minimum of 51 in each section. Note: Students on discounted partnership programs are not entitled to this scholarship.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 388,948 Undergraduate Entry Country equivalent of AAA at A-level will result in a £2,500 fee scholarship. The scholarship will be paid in subsequent years if progressing with an average of 58% or above. Students from one of the countries eligible for the Country Specific Scholarship will receive a £3,000 fee scholarship. Postgraduate Entry Country equivalent of 2:1 at degree-level will result in a £2,500 fee scholarship. Students from one of the countries eligible for the Country Specific Scholarship will receive a £3,000 fee scholarship. Country equivalent of first-class Honours at degree-level will result in a £3,000 fee scholarship. Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.
- These scholarships are automatically processed by the University and no separate application is required.
- The amount of scholarship that you are entitled to will be shown on your offer letter.
- Students must be paying their own fees.
- Students in receipt of external funding e.g. chevening scholarships are not entitled to this award. This award is instead of the Country Specific Scholarship NOT in addition to it.
Selection process
International Academic Excellence Scholarships are available to all international students who have been selected by the university to pursue full-time UG or PG courses at the University of Bradford. Selections are based on several factors such as:
- Academic merit
- Exams taken to study in the UK like GRE, IELTS, etc.
- Extracurricular activities
- Community service The aspirants receiving the offer letter for studies from the university will be automatically considered for the scholarship, based on their academic skills, entry requirement, and nationality.
