BIGHELP NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

1. Studied in Z.P./ Municipal /Govt. School in any state of India during the current academic year.
2. Scored 9.8 or above G.P.A or 98% or above marks in 10th class during the current academic year
3. The annual income of the parent/Guardian is not more than Rs.1,00,000/-
4. Own Agricultural land not more than one acre. (Note: Students studied in Residential schools / Govt. aided private schools/ any other private schools / Central Govt. schools /Model Schools with Hostel Facility are NOT eligible to apply)

4. Copy of income certificate or ration card.
5. Copy of certificates received in co-curricular activities or social service.
6. Copy of 10thclass mark sheet.
7. Copy of physically handicapped certificate, if applicable only.
8. A hand written letter by the applicant on a white paper (letter should explain why the student needs this scholarship, her/his current financial situation, family situation, student’s future goals etc.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

All shortlisted students will be interviewed over the phone by the Bighelp executive team from Hyderabad.Applicant’s details will also be verified with the help of the local teams. Other Info Bighelp for Education is a volunteer organization dedicated to improve educational opportunities for children in India. Having recognized the problems associated with literacy in India, Bighelp strive to be a catalyst for spreading the awareness of literacy and achieve 100% literacy in India by directly funding and sponsoring education for children. Bighelp believes that children's education is one of the most effective development investments that a country can make. We constantly expect to make people appreciate the gravity of the need and try to send a wake up call to many Indians to do something to their motherland. By mobilizing the funds Bighelp is helping underprivileged children in India to step in the march towards change, self-reliance by providing access to basic and formal education, there by raise economic productivity of the country, improve the educational prospects of the next generation, promote sound management of environmental resources and reduce poverty. Winners Each of the following winners will be receiving an amount of Rs. 5000 (five thousand rupees) per year for up to 6 years (total of up to Rs. 30,000) or until she/he completes the graduation or technical degree, whichever is earlier. The first year's scholarship will be presented to all of these winners during September/October 2

1. The exact date and the venue for the award presentation will be communicated to each winner through a letter and a phone call. In addition to the award money, the winner also will be receiving the reimbursement for the bus or train ticket to travel to the venue.
