BBD University offers a number of Scholarships to students awarded on the basis of merit in addition to tuition fee refund scheme. Research Fellowship: All Full-time Ph.D. Candidates are entitled for University Research Fellowship of Rs. 12000/- per month in the first and second year and Rs. 15000/- per month in third year of his Ph.D. course. The candidates availing the university Research fellowship will be given a teaching load of ten hours per week. There is also facilities to avail scholarship admissible to the students of various categories studying in BBD UNIVERSITY Students of SC/ST, General, O.B.C. and Minority categories can avail the facility of scholarship as detailed below :- Scholarship for SC/ST Category: Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2.5 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition – fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time. Scholarship for General category (economically weaker section): Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition – fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time. Scholarship for OBC and Minority categories: Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition-fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time. Eligible students may apply for scholarship and tuition – fee refund within the prescribed time-limit for a particular academic year. Their applications will be considered by the institution in accordance with the above norms and, if found in order, will be forwarded to the U.P. Govt. for approval. Scholarship for Minority categories (Government of India): Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lac for Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme and Rs. 2.5 Lac for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition-fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the of Government India from time to time.
