The Asia Research Institute (ARI) of the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from citizens of Asian countries currently enrolled in a full-time M.A. or Ph.D. degree at a university in an Asian country (except Singapore) for the award of the Asian Graduate Student Fellowship (AGSF). Offered to graduate students working in the humanities and social sciences on Southeast Asian topics, this opportunity will allow the recipients to connect with NUS on a virtual fellowship for a period of six (6) weeks. Selection process
- First All the application form will be evaluated.
- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities. Other Info REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS Successful candidates are expected to submit a draft of their papers by 30 April 2024. This paper will be shared with the relevant research cluster(s) in preparation for their interactions with the participants. Subsequently, participants are required to send in a full-length paper (4,000-5,000 words) by 31 May 2024, and make a presentation of their work at the 19th Singapore Graduate Forum on Southeast Asian Studies on 24-28 June 2024. Please note that the paper must be based on your own work, and only previously unpublished papers or those not already presented elsewhere can be accepted.
