ASEAN PARTNER SCHOLARSHIP

To recognise the strong relationship between Macquarie University and institutions in the ASEAN region, this ASEAN Partner Scholarship is awarded to prospective students from the region with a quest for knowledge. The scholarship amount is valued up to AUD $15,000 (8,48,354.85 Indian Rupee) per year for talented students who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an ASEAN partner institution.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree on-campus and meet the following criteria: Transfer from a Macquarie University ASEAN partner institution on an official dual degree or articulation program. Achieve a minimum 65 WAM for postgraduate or a minimum 85 ATAR (or equivalent) for undergraduate applications. Must not have received a scholarship or sponsorship from Macquarie University or another organisation for the degree (unless stated otherwise by the Scholarship Committee). Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.

Award & availability

Stated amount: 848,300 The scholarship amount is valued up to AUD $15,000 (8,48,354.85 Indian Rupee) per year for talented students who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an ASEAN partner institution. Scholarships are very limited and will be given to eligible students only.

Application

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants are required to complete a scholarship application form and hold a valid offer letter to study at Macquarie University.

Selection process

All student applications submitted to the university are evaluated on an individual basis. The following documents submitted along with admission application may also be taken into consideration:

  1. Academic track record, transcripts, or GPA
  2. Scores of standardized tests to study in Australia.
  3. Recommendations from an academic professor or prior employers.
