ARUNACHAL PRADESH STATE STIPEND SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

1. The stipend will be admissible to students who belong to Scheduled Tribes of the State as notified by the Central/State Government and are permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. Scheduled Tribe students who are in full-time employment are not eligible for award of stipend
3. A student who fails in a class for a particular course of study/stream and gets re-admitted in the same level of study for a different course/stream shall not be eligible for the award of stipend for thut class.
4. A Girl student who fails in a class may be allowed one time stipend for same class in the next year with specific recommendation from the Head of Institution.
5. Students against whorn disciplinary action is taken shall not be eligible for stipend
6. Students whose attendance is below 75% in any month (unless for certified reasons of health or bereavement) shall not be eligible for award of stipend
7. Students who pursue their studies through correspondence course or distance education mode shall not be eligible for stipend.
8. Students pursuing their studies in institutions not recognized by the State or Contral Regulators like UGC, AICTE, MCI, DCI, BCI, CCH. etc., shall not be eligible for award of stipend.

1. Aadhar card of the student is mandatory
2. PAN Card
3. Income certificate
4. Educational Certificate
5. Caste Certificate in case the student belongs to the ST communities
6. Residence certificate issued by the competent authority

1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.

4. All candidates will first be considered under the General category.
5. Reservation on the same principles as embodied in our Constitution and as followed by Govt. of India shall be followed in selection of candidates. This reservation will be made according to the percentage of SC, ST & OBC and also limited to a maximum of 50% as ruled by the Supreme Court and as followed by the Govt. of India. However, SC, ST & OBC candidates who are qualified on merit of their own as general candidates would be considered as additionality to the reservation for SC, ST & OBC. Hence, initially all candidates will be considered against the general quota.. Selection and Fund Release:
6. Selection of candidates for Diploma level upwards shall made by the State Govt. after proper advertisement and following selection procedure as outlined at Annexure V. 2.The stipend at stipulated rates for Diploma level and above will be paid directly by the State Govt.
