The ANU College of Business and Economics (‘the College’) may offer four awards known as the ANU College of Business and Economics International Partnership Scholarship (‘the Award’). The objectives of the Award are to support diversity, continue engagement with our recognised partner institutions and strengthen educational outcomes for students. Funding for this Award has been provided by the ANU College of Business and Economics. 1. 10,000 AUD (INR 5, 59, 836) is offered to the recipients of the ANU College of Business and Economics International Partnership Scholarship. 2. A total of 04 awards are given under this scholarship. 3. The award will be paid to the recipient in equal instalments. 4. Eligibility

The Award is available to a commencing ANU student who: ​​​​​​​

  1. Is an international student; and
  2. Has received an offer of admission to an undergraduate program offered by the College; and
  3. Has graduated from an approved ANU College of Business and Economics partner program and institution (regions are listed on the ANU Scholarships website); and
  4. Has achieved at an excellent level in their final years of schooling at an approved ANU College of Business and Economics partner program and institution as determined by the CBE Selection Committee. ONGOING ELIGIBILITY
  5. A recipient of this Award is required to enrol in a full-time load of 24 units per semester.
  6. Recipients are expected to maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or above each semester (with the average being across all courses taken in a particular semester or session/s overlapping that semester).
  7. If a recipient is unable to achieve the GPA in any semester a formal warning is sent.
  8. If the recipient does not meet the required GPA in a subsequent semester they risk having their Award suspended or terminated.
  9. A recipient is given the opportunity to explain their performance and how their performance can be remedied before a decision on the suspension or termination of an Award is made.

Stated amount: 559,836

  1. 10,000 AUD (INR 5, 59, 836) is offered to the recipients of the ANU College of Business and Economics International Partnership Scholarship.
  2. A total of 04 awards are given under this scholarship.
  3. The award will be paid to the recipient in equal instalments.
  4. The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer. The duration of the Award is for two years’ full time enrolment. The Award is paid in equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
  5. The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of the Award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study. No. Of Scholarship- 04

Application

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section. ​​​​​​​For further details, please click here.

Selection process

  1. Only applicants who meet all the eligibility criteria will be considered. Selection is made on the basis of applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. If there are more eligible applicants than there are Awards available, preference may be given based on academic merit.
  2. The Award is offered to a student by a selection committee chaired by the Dean, CBE (or nominee) which will also include CBE Director of Students and Learning (or nominee) and one other academic staff member of CBE.
  3. The selection committee reserves the right to make no award if it considers there is no applicant of sufficient merit. The selection committee may also vary the number of Awards and/or offer the Award at other times in exceptional circumstances or based on the standard of applications or students (where funds allow). Note: It also reserves the right to make no award no suitable candidate of sufficient merit is found. Other Info REPAYMENT OF FUNDS Subject to the information available at the time, the CBE Dean (or nominee) may request that the payment for the semester in which the breach of conditions or withdrawal occurs be refunded in part or in full. VARIATION TO CONDITIONS OF AWARD In exceptional circumstances and on a case-by-case basis section 7 of these Conditions of Award may be varied by the CBE Dean on the recommendation of the chair of the selection committee. TAXATION Recipients are responsible for seeking independent taxation advice regarding their own individual circumstances. Student financial awards are regarded as taxable income if a recipient is enrolled on a part-time basis. If you are receiving Centrelink benefits, student financial awards may impact your Centrelink payments. PROVIDING FALSE OR MISLEADING INFORMATION Selection for the Award is based on the information provided to the University. The Award may be withdrawn at any stage if incorrect, false or misleading information is provided or relevant information is withheld. This includes circumstances where the false information is unrelated to the assessment for the Award.
