ANIL AND GILJIT KHOSLA RACHNA AND SONA BURSARY

Students must be able to demonstrate financial need:

2. The need must impact the ability to continue studies at the University of Calgary. Students must also meet the academic requirements:
3. Continuing students must have successfully completed the previous full-time in both Fall and Winter Terms at the University of Calgary.
4. Students must have a GPA of at least 2.60 in 18 units completed.

1. Awards Provide financial support to the needy.
2. Grants a bursary of 1, 500 CAD (INR 92, 833) annually.
3. Awarded to a continuing undergraduate student of any faculty.
4. Program entering year - 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
5. Students of any citizenship are eligible for this bursary. ​​​​​​​Anil and Giljit, Rachna, and Sona Bursary will be paid out directly to recipients’ tuition fees and will not be applied to any outstanding tuition and/or fees. No. Of Scholarship- 01

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. All selected students for the Anil and Giljit, Rachna, and Sona Bursary program will be notified of their results within 3 to 4 weeks of their application submission date.

3. The cumulative grade point average (GPA) used for awards purposes is based on all courses you most recently completed in the fall and winter terms as a full-time student. Scholarships require a minimum GPA of 3.20. For bursaries, the minimum GPA required is 2.00.
4. Competitive awards require you to complete the on-line awards application; selection is based on academic merit however other criteria such as financial need (for bursaries), and/or extracurricular activities, leadership, volunteerism, etc. may be required depending on the award terms of reference.
5. Nominated awards are based primarily on academic merit and most often are designated to a specific faculty or program. An awards application is not required and candidates are recommended by the faculty or department.
6. Students entering an after-degree program in the fall term are not eligible for awards for Continuing Students however after completing the first year of your after-degree program, you qualify for these awards.
7. Supplemental exams, deferred exams, special deferred exams or term work and CS grades may affect your eligibility for awards.
