ANDHRA PRADESH - GAYATHRI SCHEME FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

1. The student and his/her parents should belong to Brahmin Community and parents should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Must be a regular (Full Time) student of the course for the academic year.
3. Should be the topper of the entire course (at the end of SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent /Graduation /Professional Edn. Course) in the School/ College/ Institute.
4. The toppers of SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent and Graduation should have completed the course in Andhra Pradesh. However, toppers of the Professional Education Course may have completed the course from anywhere in India but the parents should be residing in Andhra Pradesh.

Stated amount: 20,000

1. SSC (10th Class) - Rs. 7,500/-
2. Intermediate or equivalent (Polytechnic, ITI, etc.) (at the end of Final Year) - Rs. 10,000/-
3. Graduation (at the end of Final Year) - Rs. 15,000/-
4. Professional Education Course (at the end of Final Year) - Rs. 20,000/- This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who were the toppers of the recognised and reputed School / College / Institute in SSC/ Intermediate or equivalent / Graduation / Professional Education Course / Post Graduation.

No Application Fee will be charged Eligible students shall register online in the prescribed format through the Corporation’s portal (http://www.andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in) by providing necessary information. The data entered will be validated with the data of the MeeSeva, Praja Sadhikara Survey. The applicants should keep the following ready, before proceeding for registration:

1. Aadhar Card of student and parents with address in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Integrated Certificate (Caste, Residence, and Date of Birth) Number issued by Mee Seva, Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of a maximum 1 MB size each) of the following documents:
3. A certificate issued by the Head of the School/ College/ Institute, indicating that the student is the topper of the school/ College/ Institute for the entire course.
4. Savings Bank Account Passbook in the name of the applicant (Account should be in Andhra Bank or SBI. However, for students of Professional Education Course outside Andhra Pradesh, an account in any Nationalised Bank is acceptable.)

Shortlisting and finalisation of applicants will be done by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC). Giving priority to the following categories:

1. Orphan
2. Single mother
3. Physically challenged
4. Girl student
5. Economically very poor
