AMSTERDAM EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship (AES) is offered to international students pursuing a master’s program at the University of Amsterdam. 1. Recipients will be eligible to receive a sum of 25,000 EUR on being selected. 2. The award will cover expenses related to the tuition and cost of living. 3. The scholarship amount shall be applicable for one full academic year. 4. Due to the limited number of scholarships awarded in each faculty, the selection will be highly competitive. 5. Deadline expired for this year, try again next year. To retain the scholarship for the second year, the recipient must maintain satisfactory progress. The decision for renewability will be based upon the performance and involvement in the first year of study. Eligibility
Applicants who want to secure the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship must secure admission at Amsterdam University.
- Must be a non-EU citizen
- Must be a full-time student at the university
- Must be graduate in the top 10% of their class in any discipline
- Must not be supported by any other grant or loan.
- Must provide proof of English Language Proficiency Test.

Selection process
The selection process for the AES is two-fold.
