Amar Ujala Foundation is inviting applications for Atul Maheshwari Chhatravritti for the current year. It was specially tailored for students pursuing their education from government institutions and having annual family income below 1.5 Lakh rupees. During the financial year 2018-19, more than one lakh registered for the examination, and 36 candidates got selected and given 14.4 Lakk Rupees. Eligibility
Students who have secured more than 60 % marks in their last annual exams and are studying in 9th to 12th standard, and whose annual family income is less than 1.5 lahks are eligible for this scholarship program. Two visually impaired students will receive the special scholarship but the student must be studying one class below. The applicant can come with an assistant at the time of the written examination.

Stated amount: 30,000 After a rigorous selection process (written examination and multiple rounds of interviews), a total of 36 students will be selected for this scholarship program, 18 of which will be from classes 9th and 10th and will get Rs.30, 000/- each, 18 will be from class11th and 12th and they will get Rs.50, 000/- 36

Selection process
There will be a written examination and a personal interview. Other Info Amar Ujala Foundation launched scholarship program in June 2014 which was especially custom made for students from poor socio-economic background and with zeal to continue their studies. Students who have secured more than 60 % marks in their last annual exams from schools, are pursuing their education from government state boards from 9th to 12th standard, whose annual family income is less than INR 2 lakh are eligible for this scholarship. This competition will take place across the states of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.
