ALBUKHARY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

The following eligibility criteria for the Albukhary Foundation Scholarship must be met by the candidates:

1. Nationality: Citizen of an eligible country such as India, Bangladesh, China, Singapore, Pakistan, or Indonesia.
2. Proof of nationality is mandatory.
3. Have a conditional or unconditional offer of study from the Albukhary Foundation Scholarship partner, including a. University of Oxford, b. University of Warwick c University of York d. The Princess Foundation e. Philanthropy University f. IBN Haldun University
4. Enrolling in a three-year undergraduate full-time course.
5. Age: Must be between 18 to 22 years and should have single marital status
6. Financial Status: Household income of international students must be below 300 USD (INR 25, 164). For Malaysian applicants it is MYR 2,000.

Stated amount: 2,201,549

1. A scholarship amount of about 20, 000 GBP (INR 22, 01, 549) for over three years.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. The Albukhary Foundation Scholarship application must be made online along with the following supporting documents:

4. How will the scholarship help you achieve your future ambitions?
5. Proof of financial situation, clearly mentioning the total household income

The Albukhary Foundation Scholarship is very competitive and only a few people get it. Students are shortlisted for the scholarship based on-

2. Financial requirement Post the shortlisting students are called for an interview session, where they are judged on following factors:
3. Socio-Economic Status (40% weightage)
4. Communication Skills (20% weightage)
5. Personality (20% weightage)
6. Attitude (20% weightage)
7. Final decisions are based on the interview session only. The scholarship covers the tuition fees and UK stay and living expenses for a duration of three years of study.

10. Submission of proof of nationality, when the scholarship is offered, is non-negotiable.
11. The scholarship amount is paid in two installments each year over a period of three years.
12. Scholarships will be renewed for each year for the minimum duration of the course.
13. Scholarships can be combined with other departmental scholarships/bursaries. Albukhary Foundation Scholarship is awarded by a generous donation from a Malaysian charitable trust, namely the Albukhary Foundation. It aims to provide meritorious student with a world-class education and provides the needy with financial assistance for their higher education.
